Transit Vehicle Decommissioning Services RFP

Description: The City of Phoenix is seeking a contractor to decommission transit vehicles before they are sent to auction. Work includes picking up vehicles, removing transit branding and window films, preparing and repainting them white, and delivering them to the City’s designated auction site; any body work requires the City’s prior written approval. The contract term is five years with one optional two-year extension, and the City estimates that it will include 180 forty-foot buses, 75 twenty-foot cutaways, and 7 twenty-four-foot cutaways.
