Sources Sought_Midwave Camera

Description: The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is conducting market research for the Air Force Institute of Technology to identify sources for a midwave camera; this sources-sought notice is informational and is not a request for proposals or quotes. The requested package includes a 1.5–5 μm camera with 25 mm, 50 mm, and 200 mm lenses, accessories, software, and calibration data, with key characteristics including a -20°C to 3000°C measurement range without filter changes, an FPA of at least 640×512, a full-frame rate above 1 kHz, and a four-position filter wheel. Interested vendors must submit a capabilities package of no more than five pages by October 29, 2026, at 3:00 PM Eastern Time; any awarded vendor would have to deliver and coordinate the system within 90 days and provide a two-year warranty.
