Login.gov Inherited Credential - (Request for Information)

Description: The contractor shall provide Login.gov the ability to evaluate and integrate third-party IAL2-verified identity account information from existing accounts that have been identity proofed at IAL2 and are protected at Authenticator Assurance Level 2 (AAL2) using authenticators bound to the account holder. A successful federated authentication will result in a new Login.gov credential being created that is owned and maintained by Login.gov. This scope is intended to distinguish the use and potential reuse of existing IAL2 account information maintained by the contractor or another full-service Credential Service Provider (CSP) from new, transaction-based IAL2 identity proofing performed within the Login.gov workflow.
