About this conference
CLRC's 2026 Annual Conference will be held in person at Le Moyne College. The schedule includes a keynote address by Brittany Campese on "How We Fund Changing Libraries: Meeting New Needs with New Funding Ideas," followed by morning and afternoon lightning talks. Topics for morning lightning talks include using escape rooms to explore literature, the Queer Liberation Library's response to censorship, medical and health resources available to patrons, growing Banned Books Week at Syracuse University Libraries, and a book finder app. Afternoon lightning talks cover developing career-readiness through internships, linking local readers with local artists, the tactile library concept, using theater to support later literacy, and building a historic marker challenge. The conference also includes a business meeting, library awards, lunch, and an optional tour of the Noreen Reale Falcone Library.
