City Council City Council Meeting
The meeting addressed two primary zoning applications. The first involved a request to allow agricultural use, specifically for vegetable and horticultural cultivation, at 1974 Baseline. The second agenda item focused on a rezoning application for 1020 Queen Street East to permit the conversion of the property into an 18-unit rooming house. Community members voiced significant opposition to this proposal, citing concerns regarding increased density, property maintenance issues, traffic impact, neighborhood safety, and the potential negative effect on the character of the existing single-family residential area.
