Shelton Board of Education Special Meeting
The Board held a special meeting to address a grievance filed by the local educational secretaries union regarding the failure to post an open position internally following a retirement. The discussion centered on contract language, reduction-in-force procedures, and past practices, with both the Union and the Superintendent presenting their positions on whether the district complied with contractual obligations. The Board ultimately voted to enter an executive session to further discuss the claim.
