The meeting was held to discuss the upcoming re-vote for the fire truck bond. The board explained that the initial bond vote was invalidated due to procedural errors regarding public warnings in newspapers. A plan was presented to re-vote the bond with a modified amount, with any surplus funds to be returned to the town coffers. Officials also provided status updates on the fire truck, noting expected shipment to New Hampshire in mid-October and delivery to the dealer in December.
